About London Luton Airport
London Luton Airport (IATA: LTN) is located roughly 30 miles northwest of central London. It is smaller than the close London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Stansted. The airport opened on 16 July 1938, and was used as an RAF base during World War 2. The airport opened an international terminal in 1985, and was renamed to its current name in 1985.
